Description
Our organically crafted Siberian Pine Nut Oil, also called Pine Seed Oil or Cedar Nut Oil is extracted from selected kernels of the freshly shelled nuts of Siberian cedars (Pinus sibirica) using a traditional mechanical cold pressing method, without use of heat or chemicals. The Pinus sibirica tree, which is an evergreen tree, can reach heights of up to 40 meters and is native to the Eurasian region. It features long and blue-green needles along with reddish-brown bark. The Siberian Pine Nut Oil has a bright yellow appearance and a nice fresh aroma.
Siberian Pines (growing in Russia, Siberia Mongolia and Kazakhstan) yield the seeds with the highest content of Pinolenic Acid, as well as antioxidants, known for their medicinal benefits. The nuts have grown in a natural environment surrounded by supporting plant life in rich, naturally fertilized soil, and thus have absorbed the maximum amount of all the useful elements inherent in this particular species (Pinus sibirica). Nuts that have ripened fully in their natural environment possess a nutrient composition of higher quality in comparison to unripe nuts or nuts collected at commercial plantations, often from grafted trees treated with chemicals. Pinolenic Acid is an unsaturated acid found exclusively in pine nut oil.REPORTED BENEFITS AND USES
