This rare and exotic attar is actually a kind of majmua attar, a traditionally steam distilled blend of many flowers and botanicals from India. Saffron majmua attar includes saffron or kesar oil, adding a distinctive rich powdery note to this sublime natural perfume. Saffron is best known for its healing properties and is used as both as a medicinal herb as well as a culinary spice. The addition of saffron to the regular majmua distillation makes its aroma even more profound, deep and something that is not easy to forget.

In natural perfumery, saffron majmua attar can be used as a single-ingredient complete perfume in itself. Its wonderfully complex and sublime aroma is incredible and beautiful. It is also often used to make a fine base for blending high-quality floral perfumes, amber perfumes, chypres, oriental perfumes, fougeres, earthy and mossy blends and incenses.
