Our organic Helichrysum Hydrosol, also referred to as Immortelle Hydrosol and Everlasting Hydrosol, is steam distilled from the bright yellow perennial flowers of the Helichrysum italicum (syn Helichrysum angustifolium) plant growing wild in the dry, often rocky mountains of Croatia. This uplifting hydrosol has a gentle dry-green floral aroma with earthy tea-like back notes and is similar to the distinctive tea/honey-like, herbaceous aroma of Helichrysum Essential Oil, but is somewhat softer and more delicate in aromatic intensity.

Helichrysum Hydrosol can be mildly analgesic and is known to have anti-inflammatory properties, which can be helpful for a variety of skin ailments. Like the essential oil, Helichrysum Hydrosol is also helpful in speeding the recovery of wounds and scars, making this hydrosol an excellent choice for treating cuts, wounds, bruises, sore muscles, insect bites, rashes, gum and mouth issues, and more.
