Chamomile Flower Extract contains active ingredients including Bisabolol, Bisabolol Oxides A and B, and Matricin as well as Flavonoids (particularly Apigenin derivatives). With its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti-irritant as well as calming properties, Chamomile Extract brings its benefit in general skin and hair care products as well as bath & shower products; especially suitable for sensitive and dry skin.

German chamomile (Matricaria recutita or Matricaria chamomilla), a member of the Asteracaea family, which includes Sunflowers, is native to Europe and western Asia, but has also been naturalized in North America. Matricaria recutita is small herbaceous annual plant growing to a height of 60-90 cm, its flowers are in demand in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries that led to great interest in cultivation of this plant to produce sufficient quantity of raw material for bridging the gap between demand and supply.
